American Idol 2013 Spoilers: Lazaro Arbos – Good Singer or Pity Votes?

I know I am not the only one who will say this, but I was shocked with who was voted off American Idol 2013 last night and more so the fact that Lazaro Arbos was in the Top 3 for the night on American Idol 2013 spoilers! So, Lazaro makes the Top 3 last night on American Idol Season 12 and why do you think that is? Is he that great of a singer? Cute? Sympathy votes?

Let’s take a look at some of the options for Lazaro Arbos on American Idol 2013:

1. He has had a rough life and has the stuttering problem, but then sings very well (or he did at the beginning of the season). Everyone is voting for him because they feel bad for him and sympathy votes?
2. He was named the worst singer on the site Vote For The Worst, which picks the worst singer each season on Idol and tells everyone to vote for them to keep them on the show longer and ruin Idol. Are people actually following this site and voting for him?
3. He is cute with a good personality, which the tween girls love and vote in millions for. It was either Burnell Taylor or Lazaro and the tweens went with Lazaro over any of the girls?
4. He is from Cuba, so he has the Cuban/Hispanic/Latin vote coming his way?
5. He is a supposed friend of Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez. They have tweeted out a picture together, so maybe her fans are rallying behind Lazaro this season?
6. He actually isn’t getting all the support we think he is, but producers are keeping him on the show because they need someone to help with the American Idol ratings and they think Lazaro can do it?

Either way, he has made it into the Top 6 on American Idol Season 12 and will he be able to breakup the five girls next week? Why do you think people are voting for him?
